Timelapse Etiopia took part in The Big 5 Construct Ethiopia – AddisBuild 2023, presenting its innovations for the digital construction industry. The Big 5 is the largest and most influential event series for the construction industry, with its hub in Dubai acting as a bridge between East and West.

The fair took place in Addis Ababa from 18 to 20 May 2023, focusing on the latest construction technologies, materials, tools and equipment, as well as sustainable practices, with over 100 local and international exhibitors.

Ethiopia is one of the most dynamic construction markets in Africa: according to GlobalData, the market was worth 41 billion dollars in 2021 and is projected to grow at more than 8% per year through 2026, driven by major infrastructure, transport, energy, industrial and real estate projects.

During the fair we contributed to discussions on architecture, project management, sustainability, technology and engineering.
